Welcome

to the website of Braeside Bowling Club.

We are one of a very few clubs in Hampshire and Dorset that can offer year round outdoor bowling on our artificial surface. This surface was renewed in September 2015.

We have a spacious and comfortable clubhouse with a fully equipped kitchen and an excellent bar offering a range of drinks at very competitive prices. The clubhouse was refurbished in September 2023.

If you have never played bowls before our qualified and experienced coaches are always available with help and advice and friendly matches are arranged both home and away to help develop your bowling skills.

We have both ladies and men’s teams who compete in the Bournemouth and District and New Forest Bowling Association leagues, opportunities for competitive bowling are therefore available.

We have a varied programme of social events where the majority of the catering is done by the social committee. Non playing partners are welcome to join as Social members.

If you wish to try bowling on the latest innovation in bowling  surfaces then contact our Secretary to arrange a time suitable to you. There is no commitment to join but you will be assured of a warm and friendly welcome.
